Rules for Tryouts:
Parents
1.) Parents are not allowed to view the tryout process.
2.) Parents are not allowed to enter the tryout area.
3.) In the case that a parent refuses to leave, the child will not be able to continue with the tryout process and will not be placed on a team
Participants
1.) 10 - 14 year old participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate. After the teams are assigned, these will be passed along to the coach, as they are required for tournaments.
2.) Participants must wear clean tennis shoes; no cleats
3.) Participants must wear a protective cup
4.) Participants must NOT wear any clothing indicating participation in a prior years' traveling team. This includes hats, jerseys, or any other item that was associated with a traveling team.
5.) Participants must NOT wear any clothing that has their name imprinted.
6.) If a participant has any item that falls into the categories named above in rules 4 and 5, the participant will be asked to replace that item of clothing with a non-offending item.
7.) Participants must provide their own helmet
8.) Participants must provide their own bat, per the rules outlined below. These are MBL rules and participants in LBA must follow these in games and tournaments. We will enforce these rules at tryouts.
