ONLINE REGISTRATION DATES: House registrations will accepted January 28th thru March 31, 2010. Players registering after March 31st will be "wait listed" with no guarantee of making a team if the teams are already full.
PARENT MEETINGS:
Rookie Camp thru 2nd Grade Parent Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 13th from 6:30-8:30 pm at Kenwood Trail Junior High Auditorium. There will be a Coaches Meeting following the Parent Meeting for this grade level immediately following.
3rd Grade thru 6th Grade Parent Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 14th from 6:30-8:30 pm at Kenwood Trail Junior High Auditorium. There will be a Coaches Meeting following the Parent Meeting for this grade level immediately following.
7th thru 9th Grade Parent Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 15th from 6:30-8:30 pm at Kenwood Trail Junior High Auditorium. There will be a Coaches Meeting following the Parent Meeting for this grade level immediately following.
All Parent Meetings for 2010 are to inform parents of new rule changes, new fundraisers, meet 2010 coordinators, Player Evaluation Day, uniforms, tournaments, etc. It is the parent's responsibility to get the information from other parents if you miss the meeting. It is HIGHLY recommended parents attend.
PROGRAM START DATES: Rookie Camp through 6th grade start April 26th, 2010. 7th - 9th dates for games should began on/around May 26th, 2010 (though practices will start before that).
IMPORTANT NOTE: While the majority of practices and ALL GAMES will be scheduled Monday through Thursday, please note that requests for specific nights are not available in our House Program for 2010. We will make every attempt to make the nights consistent but there will be games and practices on a variety of evenings so to better provide a variety of competition.

Rookie Camp (Pre-K, Age 4-6)
Rookie Camp is a Pre-Kindergarten baseball program that allows 4, 5 and 6 year old children the chance to learn the basic fundamentals of baseball in a summer camp-like approach emphasizing fun and excitement. House Baseball – T-Ball (Grade K, Age 6)
T-Ball is a Kindergarten baseball program that allows 6 year old children the chance to learn the basic fundamentals of baseball in a team setting emphasizing fun and excitement.
Practices and games are held twice per week. A Coaches Handbook is distributed describing the fundamentals and practice layout for each session. Dates April 26th thru July 2nd.
The Instructional League consists of 2 programs (Grade 1 and Grade 2) that allows 7-8 year old children to build on the basics of Rookie Camp and T-Ball while emphasizing certain fundamental baseball skills. A Coaches Development Guide is distributed describing the fundamentals and practice layout for each session. Player rotation charts are provided for player participation for every game. Coach Pitch replaces the batting tee for games at 1st Grade. Coach Pitch will start the first part of the 2nd Grade Season followed by Kid Pitch for the second half for the 2nd Grade level.
Practices and games are typically held twice per week. Occasionally an extra day is available for additional instruction or scrimmages. Dates April 26th thru July 2nd.
House Baseball – Major League (Grades 3, 4, 5, & 6)
The House Baseball Program consists of a separate program for each grade level that works at a steady progression building each year on the basic fundamentals into a more advanced play. A Coaches Development Guide is available online describing the fundamentals and practice layout for each session.
Practices and games are held at least twice per week. The season starts April 26th and runs through July 25th. Occasionally an extra day is available for additional instruction or scrimmages. The Player Evaluation Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 17th, 2010 with times yet to be determined.
A Mid-Season Tournament will be held on June 24-27 for Grades 4-6.
An end of season tournament will be held July 22-25 for grades 3-6.
For grades 7th and 8th/9th will be playing a In-House Community League with EVAA, VAA, EAA, LBA, and RAA. The players will be playing teams from Apple Valley, Eastview, Eagan, and Richfield. Games will be held in Lakeville and the other locations listed. The deadline for teams to be set is April 15, 2010. Games should began on/around May 26th, 2010. Play-offs will start July 12th, 2010. There may be some changes or additions as communities add teams. An end of season tournament will be held July 22-25th.
