Due to recent events, LBA is suspending all baseball-related activities until further notice.

As the situation here locally and across the US and world is changing rapidly, LBA is taking the following precautionary steps to ensure the health and safety of our players, families and community.

LBA is releasing the travel tryout teams.  Registration is open for the travel tryout season.  Go to the registration banner on the home page and login to complete your team registration.  When you register your player, you can also opt-out of the volunteer requirement by paying the $100 opt out fee now.  Otherwise, there is a 3-hour volunteer requirement for travel baseball families.

However, LBA does not approve any non-LBA sanctioned practices, team gatherings, activities, etc. until further notice.  This is in alignment with the MN Department of Health Commission’s recommended strategy to practice social distancing to minimize person-to-person contact in order to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Lakeville school district canceling school and access to facilities, and the guidance/direction of numerous local and national athletic associations, including the Minnesota State high School League (MSHSL) and the local Minnesota Youth Athletic Services (MYAS), which have both cancelled all high school and youth sports events through March 29th.

We will send out updates as the situation changes or confirm dates as we can.
