Thank you to those who attended the All Star Festival, Saturday, June 24th. The event was held to celebrate a joint effort between Lakeville Baseball Association and the City of Lakeville to get lights on the fields at King Park. While the weather wasn't great, there was still over 500 people that attended! The adults had some time to sit and visit with friends and neighbors while the kids enjoyed the bouncy house, extreme balls, pitching with the radar machine and the home run derby! There were about 20 raffle items given away and a couple of vendors that also attended. In addition, we heard from Senator Matt Little, Parks and Rec Director, John Hennon and LBA Commissioner, Dave Tobias. The event was highlighted with games played under the lights at King 2 with Lakeville North and Lakeville South 14AAA, a mix of players from the House Program grades 6/7 on King 4 and the Miracle League on King 3.
